Our Journey to Nature Positive

We’re on a positive journey towards momentous change. It’s about winning for the planet and its people, making a difference for healthy generations to come. We want to make a material difference to the planet and its people. That’s why we’re not resting on achieving carbon neutrality across the organisation and our products.
Sustainability is ingrained in everything we do, from fibre to finish. Our commitment to doing good now and in the future drives us to continuously evolve our practices, design with integrity, and take responsibility for the impact of our products.

From launching our first carbon-negative product to scaling circular design, we’ve made bold moves toward a more sustainable future. Our latest report celebrates the progress we’ve made—and the path we’re committed to forging next. We’re just getting started.

Setting the Foundation

This year has been transformational. We have strengthened our approach by amalgamating our sustainability and design teams, now guided by our Creative Director, Jonathan Mountfort. We weave sustainable thinking into every product from the very first sketch. Our 2024/25 Impact Report showcases how we are turning vision into reality, through relentless innovation, collaborative ventures, and an unwavering commitment to doing what’s right. It shares our key milestones and direction of travel, and holds us accountable to the ambitious goals we have set.

Our Pillars

These pillars are in full alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

1

Winning for the Planet

Our five sustainability pillars reflect this ethos, guiding our actions and shaping our decisions. Together, these pillars form a system that ensures our materials, products, and processes contribute meaningfully to a more sustainable world.

2

Climate Change Demands Climate Action

We are carbon neutral in everything we do, we actively monitor our carbon emissions and are committed to being a net-zero carbon organisation in the future.

3

Closing the Loop

We are advocates for closing the loop on waste. We design with circularity front of mind.

4

Sustainable Supply Chain

We carefully select responsible suppliers and take action to mitigate unethical practices, and encourage good working conditions.

5

Supporting Well-Being in Buildings

All our products are made using only safe materials. No harmful chemicals are present in our products.

6

Operating a Business for Purpose and Profit

We strive to have a positive impact on our environment, our people, and the next generation. So, we reinvest profits from our products into dedicated environmental and social programmes, partnering with community-led initiatives to drive meaningful, restorative change.

Sustainability in Action

This journey has reinforced that closing the loop involves continuous learning and adaptation, and we have made significant progress advancing our circular initiatives:

Increased Recycled Content

Through close collaboration with suppliers and rigorous testing, we have increased the recycled content in Cube ™ from 60% to 80%.

Design for Disassembly CO2e

For products to be effectively recycled within the technical cycle, it’s crucial that they can be taken apart into their individual material components.

Reclaimed Acoustic Materials

True circularity means designing products that can return to the manufacturing process repeatedly without losing value or performance.
